SALLY

Sally (A089193) is a 13-year-old DMH who weighed 17.5 pounds on intake (but is quite chunky). 01/14/26 This rather large lady is Sally! Sally was surrendered to the shelter due to no fault of her own but because her owners' pipes burst and they could no longer care for her. Sally was assessed by the shelter vet and had to have a sanitary trim and antibiotic shot due to infection around her vulva. She is severely overweight, which prevents her from grooming herself. It is very important that she loses weight. It was recommended that she be fed canned food and follow up with your vet on the ways to help her shed those pounds. Sally was stated to be litterbox trained and has used it consistently while at the shelter. She was also stated to do well with children, strangers, and adults! Sally lived with another cat and was said to do well with dogs. Making appropriate introductions is very important to setting her up for success. Sally was declawed prior to arriving at the shelter and has strictly been an indoor kitty. If you are interested in meeting Sally, please let us know!
