Marshall (A136751) is a 1-year-6-month-old German Shepherd x Lab mix who weighed 81lbs pounds on intake! 01/03/26 Mister Marshall is back at the shelter due to no fault of his own. Marshall was said to be kennel trained and housebroken. He was said to generally mind well, but he has been known to dig. Marshall loves to play fetch! He was said to go for up to an hour at times! He was also said to love humans of all sizes and other dogs. Marshall knows some basic commands, such as sit, come, lay down and heel. In his most recent home, Marshall was said to be gentle with the baby and to love the toddler. He still has no experience with other types of animals, such as cats or small critters. If you are interested in meeting Marshall, please give us a call!01/27/25 Marshall is back at the shelter because he wasnât the right fit for his previous adoptive owner, with them having a baby on the way. Marshall was said to be friendly with everybody that he met, including babies and children. He was also said to do well with dogs in his last home but has no new experience with cats, pocket pets, or livestock. His prior owner did mark that he was kennel trained, housebroken, and rides well in a car. He is a young dog who was said to generally mind well but still likes to jump up on people. We encourage his next owner to work with a certified trainer to continue working on his manners. This is Marshallâs third time at the shelter, at only 6 months old, and he is really hoping he can find his family to grow old with. If you are interested in meeting Marshall and hopefully making that commitment to him, please let us know! 12/25/24 Marshall (previously known as Rico) was returned to the shelter due to being too messy for the previous owner to handle. Marshall was said to do well with babies, children and loves to meet new people. He was also said to do well with other dogs but has not had any experience with cats or small animals so ensure you are performing those introductions in a slow, safe and controlled manner. Marshall was also said to be housebroken and kennel trained. We would like to remind potential adopters that puppies are a lot of work and Marshall is no exception! Puppies can be especially vocal, messy and very rambunctious at times. They need a lot of time, patience, training and guidance to help them learn how to become excellent family companions as they grow and mature. Marshall is a mixture of two very high energy breeds and will need lots of mental and physical stimulation to keep his mind busy! If you are interested in meeting with Marshall, please let us know. 12/02/24 This outgoing pup is Rico! Rico arrived at the shelter as a stray with his brother Lucas and sister Belize. They have waited out their stray holds and are now eagerly awaiting to find their new families! In typical puppy fashion, they are looking for a home that will have the time, energy, and patience to devote to them. We encourage their next owners to bring them to a basic obedience class with a certified trainer for a positive first start! These three amigos were not confident walking on a leash when they first arrived at the shelter but are slowly figuring out the ropes. They seem to understand that they should potty outside but will need some continued help with potty training. They are smart puppies just looking for some guidance! If you are interested in meeting Rico, please let us know!
