POOTS

Poots (A141600) is an 11-year-old kitty who weighed nearly 6 lbs at intake!03/26/26 This sweet little cuddlebug is Poots! Poots arrived at the shelter after some life changes left her previous owner unable to provide the level of care they felt she deserved. Miss Poots is an older kitty, and she has a history of a heart murmur. It will be important to monitor her heart health as she ages, and her new owners should be prepared to discuss this further with their vet. Poots would prefer to be an only pet. She does not particularly like other cats, and she does not have experience with other animals such as dogs. She may do well, if the dog is cat-savvy and will mostly leave her alone. Please make sure any and all introductions are done in a slow and controlled manner, and that Poots has a space in the home that is only hers that the dog cannot get to.
