CHENA

Chena (A140618) is a 3-year-old Pitbull x Lab mix who weighed 70 pounds on intake! 12/15/25 This pretty girl is Chena. Chena is looking for a special place to call home. Her surrendering owner let us know that she has very limited experience with people from outside their family and can be quite shy with new people. We have found this to be true while at the shelter. However, we have found that she enjoys treats and takes them gently! Chena did grow up with older children but has no experience with younger kids. She also grew up with other dogs but has no experience with cats, pocket pets, or livestock. She does not have experience with other dogs outside her home. Please ensure you are making slow, safe, and controlled introductions with all new pets to help set her up for success. Chena was said to be kennel trained, housebroken, and rides well in a car. However, she was also known to be a chewer and will dig if left outdoors. Providing her with plenty of mental and physical stimulation is important for her well-being.
