Meet Onix! Onix is a 5-year-old, 26 lb Cairn Terrier mix with the perfect balance of mellow companion and happy adventure buddy. Around the house, he's calm, quiet, and easygoing, content to relax nearby and enjoy a peaceful day with his people. But the moment the leash comes out, Onix lights up with excitement and is ready for a nice walk, fresh air, and time exploring the world by your side.

Onix is a sweet, gentle boy who enjoys meeting people and has done well with the dogs he encounters on walks. He absolutely loves belly rubs, and when he's feeling playful, his adorable personality shines through with enthusiastic tail wags, little hops, and plenty of charm that will make you smile every day.

While he may need a little time at first to fully relax and snuggle in, once Onix feels safe and trusts you, he becomes an incredibly loving and loyal companion. He is crate trained and genuinely enjoys spending time in his crate, making him an easy dog to have in the home. He's also very quiet and rarely barks.

Onix has had a few occasional potty accidents as he adjusts, but he continues to do well with consistency, patience, and a regular routine. He's the kind of dog who simply wants a calm, loving home where he can feel secure and cherished.
