Angel is an incredibly affectionate silver tabby who adores his people. Whether he's curled up in your lap, tucked into your arms, or following you from room to room, he simply wants to be wherever you are. He greets his favorite humans with happy chatter, melts into pets, and is an expert biscuit maker. Even at the vet, he's been known to make air biscuits while soaking up attention! Gentle, easy to handle, and wonderfully trusting, Angel takes nail trims and medication like a champ.

Angel is always thinking, always watching, and always figuring things out. He loves investigating every corner of the house and has been known to test doors to see if they might open. His forever family will need to be cat-savvy, appreciate his clever antics, and stay one step ahead of his curious mind. Living with Angel means you'll never be bored-his calculating little expressions and mischievous personality will keep you smiling every day.
When he's not solving household mysteries, Angel enjoys chasing ribbon toys, climbing to the highest perch on his cat tree, and birdwatching from the window. He's playful without being demanding and is respectful during mealtimes, never begging for food. He's also remarkably responsive to gentle verbal guidance, proving once again just how intelligent he is.
Angel came to Proverbs after developing severe stomatitis that required most of his teeth to be removed. Thanks to excellent veterinary care and advanced treatment, he's now healthy, comfortable, and thriving. He's finished his medications, has gained weight beautifully, and happily eats both wet and dry food despite having only a few teeth remaining.
While Angel is friendly and confident, he has made it clear that he'd prefer to be the king of his castle. He isn't afraid of other cats or dogs, but he likes to be in charge and would be happiest as the only pet, where he can devote all of his love-and all of his big personality-to his family.
Angel would do best with adopters who appreciate an intelligent, interactive cat and understand that his curiosity is part of what makes him so special.
