Meet Cookie - a tiny sweetheart with a BIG love for snuggles! Cookie joined our rescue as a local owner surrender due to her owner becoming incarcerated, and now she's ready for her next chapter.
Cookie is a purebred Yorkshire Terrier, estimated to be around 3 years old, and she's truly petite at just 7 pounds! She recently enjoyed a spa day at Pet Bath & Beyond, and she's looking (and feeling!) absolutely adorable.
This little girl is an absolute doll. Cookie is very sweet, loves people, and fits right in with her foster family, which includes other dogs and cats-she does great with all of them! She also lived with children in her previous home and is comfortable around them. True to her Yorkie roots, Cookie is happiest curled up with her person and soaking up all the love. If you're looking for a loyal lap companion, she's your girl!
Cookie was clearly well loved in her original home, but she did not receive formal training. She is not a fan of the crate, and her foster mom is currently working on house training using pee pads, which Cookie is using successfully. We believe she may have worn a diaper previously, based on some hair loss on her legs, so continued training and patience will be important in her new home.
Cookie is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventatives. Her adoption fee is $450.
