https://www.dpsrescue.com/adopt/dog-application.<br>Adoption Fee: $650Meet Princess Pea: proof that royalty comes in travel size. Yes, that Princess Pea. And yes, she is absolutely royalty… just pocket-sized.
Princess Pea is a 4 month old Chihuahua/French Bulldog mix weighing a whopping 6 pounds (or approximately one bag of sugar, two croissants, and a lifetime of sass). She's sweet, snuggly, and comes with the kind of face that makes you forget your own responsibilities.
At first, Princess Pea may act a little shy, because as a lady of the court, she must first evaluate your vibes. But give her a few hours and she transforms into a full-blown cuddle goblin who believes your lap is her rightful throne.
Her daily schedule is very demanding, as you can imagine: Potty break. Breakfast. Playtime. Nap. Nap. Nap. Snack. Nap. She works hard. She deserves it.
Princess Pea is obsessed with toys, loves being carried like the tiny monarch she is, and her favorite luxury item is a baby sling. (Why walk when you can be transported like the precious pea you are?) She also loves sleeping in bed with her people, because frankly, she believes you exist to provide warmth and emotional support.
She's still learning leash walking, which currently looks like "tiny celebrity being escorted by security." She also has some normal puppy mouthiness, but she's improving quickly and responds well to being redirected with toys. Basically, she's learning that humans are not chew sticks… even if they sometimes smell like snacks.
Princess Pea is doing great with crate training, may whine briefly when first placed inside, then settles down like she pays rent. She's also about 75%% potty trained, which is excellent for someone who is still basically a baby bean with legs. With consistency and a routine, she'll be 100%% in no time.
She likes other dogs and will try to start playtime, but let's be clear… people are her favorite species. She's also totally unbothered by cats. Cats? Peasants. She ignores them.
Princess Pea is the perfect mix of gentle, goofy, affectionate, and slightly dramatic in the way only a truly iconic puppy can be. She's ready for a home that understands puppy life includes naps, training, snuggles, and being emotionally manipulated by a 6-pound creature with big eyes.
If you're looking for a tiny best friend who will cuddle you like it's her royal duty and follow you around like your adorable little shadow… Princess Pea is ready to rule your heart.
