This 5-year-old Aussie and Shiba mix is a loving, 55-pound (previously 70 pounds and working on shedding a bit more) companion with a graceful presence. Though a little aloof at first, he quickly warms up and shows his gentle and loving side. Walks beautifully on a leash and is very gentle when taking treats. Knows basic commands and responds well to hand signals, showcasing his intelligence and attentiveness. Remarkably, he is the quietest dog at our facility, perfect for a peaceful household. Due to past interactions, he needs to be the only animal in the home. Cats and other dogs are not recommended. We recommend a home with children aged 12 and up, where he can enjoy companionship while ensuring everyone feels comfortable. Corky is seeking a calm and loving home where he can be the center of attention. His ideal family will appreciate his quiet nature and be ready to provide the care and companionship he deserves. All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm tested (if over 2 years old), vaccinated, dewormed, flea and tick treated, microchipped and more before adoption. Our adoption policies include: Application, Vet Reference, Landlord approval & Criminal Background Check. We do not do same day adoptions. We request that you call for an appointment after your application has been approved to come and visit the dog of your choice.
