Bryce

Bryce is an approximately 11-month-old, 50-pound young dog who was adopted as an 8-week-old puppy. His mom was an English Springer Spaniel mix and his dad is unknown. He has grown up in a loving home and has received regular veterinary care along with professional training support. While he is deeply loved, Bryce's needs have proven to be more than a household with children can safely manage. He requires a home where he can receive appropriate exercise, ongoing training, and consistent structure.Bryce truly loves adults. People who meet him often comment on how handsome, affectionate, and engaging he is. He enjoys playing fetch, snuggling close to his people, and even has an endearing "smile." With adult handlers, Bryce is loving and seeks connection and attention. However, he plays too rough for children and needs an owner who can confidently guide him and provide clear leadership so he understands expectations and boundaries.Bryce is crate trained and sleeps in his crate at night. He is house trained and rings a bell at the door when he needs to go outside. He enjoys walks, loves playing fetch, and is very intelligent, picking up new skills quickly. Bryce is also a heavy chewer and can only have very durable dog bones, as softer items are not safe for him.Bryce bonds strongly with adult handlers and responds best to confident, consistent leadership. He thrives in a calm, structured environment where he can receive plenty of attention, affection, and routine.
