He may not be the life of the party yet, but for the patient family willing to earn his trust, he promises a devotion that lasts a lifetime. Hund's story began in a crowded hoarding house with over 25 other dogs. When he arrived at the shelter in late October, he was so overwhelmed he couldn't even stand up in his kennel. For weeks, he was a ghost..shut down, fearful, and hiding his face in the corner.Everything changed with a little patience and the magic of a ham sandwich. After moving to a quieter environment, Hund began to blossom. The dog who once had to be carried in a wagon now hops into the car (with a little boost!) and settles in as the `Best Co-Pilot Ever.` He loves resting his head on the center console, watching the world go by, and offering quiet supervision while you handle household chores.Dogs over 40 pounds are always FREE.
