Thumper

Thumper is only 7 months old. He is a Pit Bull mix. He is a high energy boy!! Thumper does well with other dogs BUT he can play very rough so not a good choice for a home with small kids. He needs some basic training. Thumper is learning to walk well on leash and will need continued work on his housetraining.

He is neutered and vaccinated.
Thumper was chosen for a "Doggie Day Out" and here is what they said about him...." This is Thumper!! He is still a puppy but he is just the goodest boy. You would think at his age (under a year) he would be extremely, extremely high energy, (bad pulling on a leash, just always on the go) but that couldn't be further from the truth! Of course, he was a little excited when we first took him out of the kennel and to my car, but he was great in the car, just chilled. He's good on a leash, just gets distracted and stops sometimes and will cut you off a bit... lol, but doesn't aggressively pull whatsoever. I ate around him and he doesn't really care for it, but I think he may be a picky eater because his favorite thing including a variety of treats he was offered was some grass. He got enthusiastic about a stick for a second but that was the most I saw out of him, other wise he couldn't care less about anything, just happy and chill. Never saw him bark the whole time he was out as well as the handful of times I've been to the shelter within the past maybe month and a half, passing by taking him out for a day because I think "Surely he'll get adopted soon, he's such a cute puppy." He also has a littermate there that is in the kennel directly in front of him. All dogs deserve a loving forever home.
