LOCATED IN PUEBLO**Meet Blaze, a sleek black-and-white kitten with an adorable little blaze marking on his forehead. While he was once the most cautious of his brothers, at just 7 weeks old heâs really starting to blossom and gain confidence. It has been wonderful watching him grow braver each day! Now, Blaze eagerly comes out alongside his brothers to greet people when they enter the room, showing off his curious and social side.Blaze loves to play and is especially motivated by tasty treats like freeze-dried chicken and Churus. He is accustomed to living with a large, gentle Standard Poodle and does well with calm dogs, though a more energetic dog may make him a bit wary at first. He absolutely melts for attention - purring happily when picked up or given scritches. Out of the whole litter, Blaze is the calmest and sweetest of the bunch. If youâd like photos or have any questions, please reach out to
[email protected].**I am not currently at the shelter because I'm growing big and strong in a foster home! *Staff thinks I will be ready by mid May.*You can sign up to pre-adopt me by placing a $50 choice hold. This is a non-refundable fee that does not go towards my adoption fee, but it does give you the first opportunity to adopt me. Shelter staff will contact you when Iâm ready to go home with my new family! To place a choice hold, you can either come into the shelter or call us at 719-302-8707; you may wait to speak with a customer service representative or leave a voicemail. Choice holds are placed on a first-come, first-serve basis and only one choice hold can be placed per animal.Once I am old enough to go home, I will have to be adopted at the shelter without a visit. Unfortunately, we arenât able to visit while Iâm in the foster home as itâs a lot of stress on me to be transported back and forth to the shelter for visits, which makes me more susceptible to getting sick. I want to be healthy for our new life together!
