LOCATED IN PUEBLO**Hi! My name is Moonpie, and I’m looking for someone patient, kind, and full of love to welcome me into their life. I’ve been in a foster home since I was just a week old and have grown into a playful, smart, and funny kitten with lots of personality.My favorite toys are springs, ribbons, crinkly toys, boxes, bottle caps, and anything soft. I also love my little cat tree and big nylon tunnel for playing, exploring, and napping. One thing you should know about me - I’m very vocal, especially when I’m hungry! My foster mom says I’m super smart, but since I’m still young, I have lots of growing and learning ahead of me.I would love the chance to become part of a loving family and bring lots of fun, cuddles, and entertainment into your life.**I am not currently at the shelter because I'm growing big and strong in a foster home! *Staff thinks I will be ready by late May to early June.*You can sign up to pre-adopt me by placing a $50 choice hold. This is a non-refundable fee that does not go towards my adoption fee, but it does give you the first opportunity to adopt me. Shelter staff will contact you when I’m ready to go home with my new family! To place a choice hold, you can either come into the shelter or call us at 719-302-8707; you may wait to speak with a customer service representative or leave a voicemail. Choice holds are placed on a first-come, first-serve basis and only one choice hold can be placed per animal.Once I am old enough to go home, I will have to be adopted at the shelter without a visit. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to visit while I’m in the foster home as it’s a lot of stress on me to be transported back and forth to the shelter for visits, which makes me more susceptible to getting sick. I want to be healthy for our new life together!
