Sparky, A236870, a five year old chihuahua mix seeks warm, loving person to share walks, leisurely afternoons, sun soaked days in the shelter of shade and maybe the ocean breeze, cozy nights with nuzzles and cuddles. Sparky is pretty sweet⦠heâs a fabulous companion and he will steal your heart. Sparky, like most dogs does not find the shelter the most peaceful place, a little intimidating for a little guy, 12-15 lbs. Upon meeting Sparky, who looked so terrified in his kennel, he easily leashed up and followed along. It took just a couple minutes of letting him lay in a pile of comfy blankets while he ever so gently took some treats and he relaxed, his tail wagged and I saw the change, the fear evaporated. I knew then he was going to make someone an outstanding companion. He then proceeded to poke his nose into my hand for more pets, more love, more connection. Heâs ready if you are! I see him being a great companion to empty nesters that want a new special boy to dote or that shy, soft, gentle child that knows dogs get her/him and their bond would be incredible. Wherever he ends up, we hope itâs a home filled with love, softness and peace.
