Welcome to the grand unveiling of Penny-A238263, our priceless little pooch, a two year old, small terrier mix. Voila…. Here she is!!! (applause, applause!!)As the saying goes, “Find a penny pick it up, all day long you’ll have good luck”, can you imagine your luck if you adopted Penny and gave her a forever loving home? Oodles and oodles of good karma. Penny has been living in foster care with other dogs and cats. It is observed by the foster home that Penny absolutely must have a home with another friendly dog or a person or couple with no kids in the home, she thrives while being with others but she does have preferences. Penny does not like energetic child energy, she’s looking for calm, peace, quiet quality time with her people and canine buds. Regarding her compatibility with cats, she did bark at resident cats in foster home, not aggressive but assertive, she could be an option for a cat in the home but there would be a definite acclimation period for both. Penny, in her current foster home, has learned routine and potty schedule and rules and doing well. When adopted, she will have to learn a new schedule, rules and places and smells, she will need time to transition. Penny could use some more work on leash manners and has shown some reactivity, while not a great trait, we must remind you she’s a terrier and will want to let folks know sometimes, what a big dog is in that little body.
