If you love big dogs and want one in your life, Maximus is your perfect choice. He also has a big heart! This dog loves to go on walks and loves to play. Let him loose in the yard with a ball and he is in heaven. He can toss it up high and catch it over and over again. His beautiful black coat shines in the sun and feels wonderful to the touch when he sits next to you for petting and hugs. And for such a large dog, he will gently take treats that you have to offer. Maximus is a very strong, high energy dog. A home with a yard would be great but at least the chance to go on walks to burn energy. We aren't sure of his background so introductions to other dogs/animals should be done slowly. He can be unaware of his size, so pay attention around younger children or they might get accidentally knocked over. We are recommending kids 5+. Great Pyrenees can make great pets but we recommend breed knowledge due to their smart and independent nature. Maximus enjoys treats, so reward based training is a must.
