Something about her quiet presence and gentle eyes made us want to give her moreâmore time, more care, and more love. So we brought her to MCAC to give her just that. At first, she was a little unsure of the world around her, keeping her feelings tucked safely inside. But with patience, kindness, and a lot of heart, Bug has started to blossom into the loving, affectionate girl we knew she could be.Once youâve earned her trust, youâll discover her sweetest secret: sheâs a kiss-giver for life. The kind of dog who bonds deeply, who looks at you like youâre her whole world, and who will quietly lean into you just to be close. Those moments feel earnedâand theyâre worth everything.Ladybug is considered a special adoption, meaning sheâs looking for someone with prior Rottweiler experience who understands her breed and is willing to go at her pace. Meet-and-greets will be by appointment only and extended to approved adopters. We strongly encourage multiple visits so she has the chance to get comfortable and build that all-important connectionâjust like she has with us.Sheâs up-to-date on all vaccines and preventatives, already spayed, and currently undergoing treatment for heartworm. Because of this, she will be placed in a foster-to-adopt home so we can help guide her through the remainder of her care. This includes two scheduled injections and about 30 days of follow-up medicationâweâll be with you every step of the way.Bug has shown positive interactions with other dogs so far, but while she continues healing, we believe sheâll thrive best in a calm, quiet home.
