Insights from my foster:`When I first brought Erik back, he was a very nervous kitten and would only hide under any tight crevices he could find. It took some time and patience to finally get him out, and with the help of FELIWAY and some tasty CHURU treats, he slowly started to see that human beings were there trying to help him. It took Erik about 3 to 4 days to completely feel comfortable to come out of his hiding spot, but there will be on occasions where he will try to `play hard to get` when I come into the room to spend time to play with him or change his food bowl or clean his litter box, but I can tell he is doing that for attention, which I think is really cute. Erik is a very playful and energetic kitten once you get to know him. He spends his time napping, chasing feathered toys, balls, small fish toys, mouse toys or any toys that has animalistic features or can roll/appears round. He especially loves chasing wands and wands with feather attachments. Erik also loves CHURU treats and has a BIG appetite and loves eating wet good, especially anything with a pate texture.My favorite thing about Erik is the expression on his sweet little face. He always has these sad little kitten eyes, maybe due to genetics - but I know he is always happy because he loves making biscuits and purrs so loud every time I give him cheek rubs. Erik looooooooves cheek rubs. He leans in for cheek, chin and head rubs and loves them so much that he will plop and expose his belly to you and begs for more. Whenever a kitten does that, I know that I am doing the right thing for them and it melts my heart.`
