Hello! I am a cutie pie that was transferred to OCAS from another shelter. I have heartworms, and the medical team is working on my treatment. If you're interested in me, the team at the shelter can give you more information about that.In North Carolina, it's unfortunately common to see many dogs that are infected with heartworms (they are transmitted by mosquito bites). Heartworm disease may cause severe lung disease, heart failure, or other organ damage in dogs. It's usually fatal if left untreated. Heartworm treatment is costly. She is house trained and gets zoomies immediately after going potty. Cici is such a loving dog: she showers you with love and attention.``I have taken so many dogs out for the day, but Cici was the easiest and sweetest girl ever! Sweetest, most loving, cuddly girl ever! Would make a great dog for someone looking for a calmer dog. An absolute angel, so well behaved and sweet. We had the best time with her. She was more than happy just lying on a blanket chilling while I was doing work if I was in her eyeline. She loves pets and attention but can also entertain herself.My favorite thing is her little army crawl that she does!
