Hi. Hello. It's me. I'm Jaynie. I'm a pitbull mix with a big head, a bigger heart, and approximately zero interest in whatever is happening in this loud echo-y place you call `the shelter`Am I brave? Emotionally, yes. Situationally? No.I'm the kind of dog who needs a little extra time to decide you're cool. Sudden noises? Suspicious. New people? Possibly undercover vacuum salesmen. But once I figure out you're safe (and you might have snacks) I transform into a certified love sponge who will quietly glue myself to your side and gaze at you like you personally invented kindness. I need someone patient, cozy, and kind. Someone who understands that the best dogs aren't always the loudest ones wagging at the gate. Sometimes they're the quiet ones waiting for their moment to feel safe. If you've got a soft voice, a comfy couch, and the ability to say `it's ok` like you mean it, I think we could be very good for each other.
