A Loyal Companion Seeking His Perfect MatchMeet Jasper - a lovable, lanky Lab with a heart as big as his tennis-ball obsession. This happy-go-lucky boy is playful, affectionate, and always ready for an adventure, whether it's a game of fetch, a splash in the water, or a nice walk by your side. Jasper is eager to please and loves working with his people. He already knows commands like sit, stay, shake, and lay down, and his attentive nature and treat motivation make training a joy.Jasper walks beautifully on leash, is fully potty trained, and enjoys doggy playgroups at the shelter. Since arriving, he has grown tremendously in confidence and continues to blossom into a sweet, social companion. He thrives with consistency, positive reinforcement, and a patient person who will continue helping him feel safe and successful.Like many smart, sensitive dogs, Jasper can sometimes become protective or possessive of things he values. Because of this, he may do best in an adult-only home with someone committed to continued training, structure, and understanding his boundaries. With guidance and trust, Jasper has so much potential to be an incredibly loyal and devoted companion.At the end of the day, Jasper is simply looking for someone to toss the ball, share life's adventures, and love him for the wonderful dog he is.He has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in his new home.
