Meet Tuffy! Tuffy may seem loud and high-energy in the shelter, but in a home he's a completely different dog. Tuffy got to have a sleepover with one of our volunteers and here is what we learned: Once settled, he's calm, cuddly, and relaxed-no jumping, no barking, just peaceful vibes. He slept 9 hours straight at my feet and was fully housebroken with zero accidents.He loves walks, toys (especially balls), and sniffing the world like a curious little scientist. Public outings went great-cars, people, sirens? No problem. He's a little unsure in new situations but tries his best and gains confidence with time.Tuffy bonds closely with his people and likes to know where you are, but he settles quickly with routine. The shelter stress doesn't show the real him-the real Tuffy is a sweet, affectionate companion who just needs someone to see past the noise.Calm. Playful. Loyal. Ready for a home. Tuffy has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in his new home. He's also sharing his shelter suite with a friend he met at the shelter.
