A Diamond in the Ruff: Meet LuieSweet Luie is a gentle soul with a heart full of quiet hope When he first arrived, he was an underweight, shy boy, unsure of the world around him. With a little care and kindness, Luie has been gaining both weight and confidence-and it's been beautiful to watch him bloom.One of the best moments is seeing Luie light up around squeaky toys! In those playful bursts, you can glimpse the happy dog he's becoming-running, playing, and letting his worries fade away, even if just for a while. On walks, he's calm and easy to handle, and he takes treats with the softest, most polite touch.Luie has the cutest white paws that look just like little socks, and they carry a dog who is trying his very best every day. He'll thrive with a patient, loving family willing to give him the time and space he needs to feel safe. There's truly a diamond in the rough here-sweet, gentle, and waiting for someone to see just how special he is.Luie has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in his new home.
