MEET FIGARO! *Would like a cat friend * Has so much potential Figaro is one of our `Tiny Tigers` -- that means he was born outside and unfamiliar with humans and our ways. After spending some time in Tiny Tiger Bootcamp, where he got more used to people, we moved him into the colony room with his friends. Since beng co-housed with some buddies, Figaro has relaxed more. Although he can still be a bit nervous, he is a young cat with a lot to learn and plenty of love to give, A friendly or outgoing cat friend would be a perfect way to help `Figgy` transition to his new home. Tiny Tigers require some extra commitment from their forever families, but pay it back with a lifetime of love! WHAT TO EXPECT FROM YOUR NEW KITTEN*Hiding: for the best transition, we highly recommend confining Figaro to a small space such as a guest room or extra bathroom.*Transition: This can be scary, so Figaro will need time and patience as he gets acclimated to his new surroundings. He has been here for a while and now has to adjust to all of the new patterns, sounds and smells of your home.*Hands-on work from you: Figaro loves food and using stinky wet food and churu treats is a great way for you to bond with you new kitten. Petting may be scary at first, so pairing food with petting can help Figaro learn that hands are not a scary thing. Pairing yummy food with handling is the quickest way to teach an under-socialized kitten that petting is a good thing and it can really get that purr engine running!Figaro is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed, microchipped and seen by our vet team.For more information on Figaro or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170.
