MEET SPARTACUS!This magnificent cat is Spartacus. If only he could speak, what a story he'd have to tell! Spartacus was brought in by our Rescue Team with a gruesome wound on his neck. Our vet team did incredible work for him, cleaning his wound and crafting unique bandages for his neck. They also discovered that, like many free-roaming male cats, he is FIV+. After he completed his state mandated 4 month quarantine for animals with wounds of unknown origin, Spartacus is a different cat! His wound has healed completely and his snowy fur grew back. He eats so well that our vets think he's a bit overweight! Everyone in Dedham is in love with this handsome survivor - he enjoys lap time, petting and playing. Spartacus seems to like other cats; if you have another cat at home we can talk through bringing home an FIV+ cat. Spartacus is currently up to date on vaccinations and flea and tick preventative, has been spay/neutered, microchipped and examined by our vet team.
