MEET Hades!Hades is a spunky guy who would love to have a crib all to himself! He hasn’t gotten along well with other piggie friends in the past, so he would prefer not to have a guinea pig roommate. However, he would be more than happy to have a “neighbor” that lives in an enclosure next to his!Like any pet, guinea pigs require a lot of care and attention. It is important to familiarize yourself with their daily and long-term needs before adopting a new pig. Since guinea pigs are prey animals, they'll need a little extra time and patience adjusting to their surroundings before their unique personalities can truly shine! Guinea pigs are talkative and clever, and make wonderful companions when they've bonded with you!In order to adopt, we will need to approve a photo of the enclosure Hades will be living in before you take them home.Hades has been seen by our vet team.For more information on Hades or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please feel free to stop by one of our Animal Care and Adoption Center locations during open hours or call us at 617-426-9170.
