01/31/26 16:34 MHMeet your future fetch champion! This happy, outgoing guy is easy to leash and handle, knows his name, and comes when calledâbonus points for good recall. Heâs affectionate, attentive, and loves engaging with his people, especially if playtime is involved. Fetch is his absolute favorite, and heâs very ball-motivated (so much so that non-chew toys are a mustâno tennis balls to chomp!).On walks and in the yard, heâs curious about other dogs and may pull to say hello, but he keeps his cool with no barking or lunging. He enjoys gentle petting, seeks attention, and is considered easy to manage overall. While heâs not currently in a playgroup, heâs thought to be a good candidate for a gentle, dainty play style. If youâre looking for an affectionate, playful companion whoâs always ready to toss the ball, this might be your match!01/28/26 10:06Needs rescue due to being known to chew and ingest non-food items, including toys. At this time, there is no known history of gastrointestinal obstruction, and the dog is currently bright, alert, and eating normally with no signs of vomiting, diarrhea, or abdominal discomfort.Ingestion of toys or other foreign objects can pose a risk for gastrointestinal upset or obstruction, which may require veterinary evaluation, diagnostic imaging, medical management, or surgical intervention if it occurs in the future.03/15/26What did we do on todayâs adventure:For Monkey D Doggyâs very first Tails & Trails outing, he acted like an absolute seasoned pro. He was easy to harness and hopped right into his buddyâs car as if heâd been doing this his whole life. Once they arrived at Shady Oaks Park, Monkey D kicked things off with a brisk 1-mile warm-up lapâtoy securely in his mouthâwalking confidently past people and kids without a second thought. After warming up, his buddy decided to add a little more cardio to the day, so they headed onto the Coyote Creek Trail.Throughout their morning adventure, they took a few well-earned breaks. Monkey D loved stretching out in the sun, toy-of-toys besidehim, soaking in the lake view. Heâd occasionally stroll over for snacks and some hang-out time, but his favorite move was definitely the confident sun-bathing. Despite plenty of dogs, cyclists, and activity along the trail, Monkey D stayed completely unfazed. He did spot a squirrel or two, but his focus stayed steadyâcarry the toy, enjoy the trail, and see as muchas possible. All in all, Monkey D crushed 5 miles like it was nothing. A truly impressive first outing! What potential adopters should know:Monkey D Doggy is an all-around wonderful companion with a big heart and an even bigger love for toysâespecially anything resembling a ball. Heâs athletic, enthusiastic, and always ready for anice walk or a fun round of fetch. Heâs also a total pro in the car. Monkey D hops in confidently, settles down calmly, and patiently waits for the next exciting destination. Whether itâs adventure time or travel time, he handles it like aseasoned explorer. Monkey D enjoys gentle petting and human connection, but heâs also perfectly content spending time on his ownâas long as he has his favorite toys to keep him busy. Because heâs such a toy lover, durable, non-destructive toys are the best match for himâsomething he can happily work on all day without wearing through too quickly. Monkey D Doggy truly has the perfect blend of independence, playfulness, and affection. Heâs athletic, confident, and joyfully toy-motivatedâan incredible buddy on any trail, in any car, orbeside any human.Three words to describe me:Confident, Athletic and Friendly
