He enjoys petting, leans into affection, and is food-motivated—he even knows sit! While he can be a bit stubborn, he’s easy to leash and handle, making him a cooperative companion for walks and everyday care.Suitcase has shown reactivity in side yards and around rowdy or invasive dogs, but he is much calmer on leash, in back yards, or in low-distraction environments. He does well with polite, even-tempered dogs, though he may not give appropriate corrections if pushed, so careful introductions and monitoring are important.With the right home—someone patient who can provide structure, calm dog introductions, and consistent guidance—Suitcase can flourish as a loving, loyal companion who enjoys both play and quiet moments.A little reserved, a lot of love—Suitcase is ready to unpack happiness in your home!03/08/26What did we do on today’s adventure:Today was my first Trails & Tails adventure and I was thrilled from the very start! I love car rides and I hopped right in, ready to go. The best part of the ride? Sticking my head out the window! Feeling the wind in my face and catching all those amazing smells rushing by - pure happiness. When we arrived at our walking spot, I was eager to get moving. I can pull a bit on the leash because I'm just so excited about everything around me and want to explore it all! There's so much to see and investigate. I showed off my 'sit' command for my walker, and let me tell you, treats are basically the best invention ever and I'll work hard for them! During our walk, we passed other dogs, people, and bikes, and I was totally cool with all of them. I'm a relaxed guy and none of that bothered me one bit. However, I do to admit that small critters like squirrels, birds, and other small animals really catch my attention.What should potential adopters know about me:Suitcase is a friendly, fun-loving dog who brings energy and playfulness to every adventure. He loves car rides and particularly enjoys sticking his head out the window to feel the wind and take in all thescents. Suitcase is very treat motivated and already knows `sit`. He's a playful boy who loves stuffy and squeaky toys. On walks, Suitcase does pull moderately on the leash,so he would benefit from continued leash training and an active handler who can provide structure while channeling his energy positively. Suitcase does have a strong prey drive and is very interested in small animals like squirrels, birds, and other critters. This means he may not be suitable for a home with small pets and cats. Suitcase would make a great companion for someone looking for an energetic, friendly pup who loves adventures, and enjoys the simple pleasure of a good car rideand a squeaky toy.Three words to describe me:Playful, Cheerful, Active
