~10 year old (exact age unknown) female intact miniature poodle found stray; intake 1/31/26 - sweet demeanor, a little shy, FAS score 0-1 - has the following abnormalities on physical exam:**most pertinent finding**- she DOES have hearing (not deaf) but is functionally BLIND in both eyes- the right eye has iris atrophy, a posteriorly luxated lens that also has a cataract - NO glaucoma- the left eye has a grossly abnormal appearing cornea with red and tan discoloration and the cornea is misshapen and buldging - eye pressures are normal The left eye was removed, histopathology pending. The RIGHT eye may eventually also need to be removed if it becomes painful at any point in the future as she already is blind in that eye**other findings**- mild matting - very mild heart murmur - grade 1/6, focal- mild to moderate dental calculus accumulation but no gingivitis - pt may be anywhere from 7-12 years old but does not appear to have advanced periodontal disease- medial patellar luxation in both knees (grade 3-4 left knee, grade 2-3 right knee) but patient is not overtly painful on range of motion in knees- very mild ear infection - medical has treated this with ear medicationIn need of urgent rescue due to comorbiditiesOff of stray-hold 2/4/26
