White body accented with brown on the back and head, this fella has a distinguishing white sliver between his eyes (thatâs where the chocolate chips get inserted :). Loves to play with well-mannered similar-sized dogs. Shelter ID# A1401296The Cookie Litter The scrumptious 10 week-old small-breed Cookie Litter is ready to be devoured! Rescued from a park where they were left in a box the day they were born, these pups have all the right ingredients for a fabulous life with you. Their playful nature and cute bunny hops endear them to every food critic. Theirs is a 5-star recipe! The shelter asked if we could foster a mom and her six puppies after they'd been abandoned in a local park. Of course we said yes. Mama Cookie was doing an amazing job keeping her babies safe and fed, all the while so scared around the barking and chaos in the shelter. Once home, Mama Cookie settled in, safe at last. The pups were little love balls, all curled up and nestled into one another. Look at them now! They are cute, silly, playful, smart, and SO loving. The Cookie Litter spends their days together playing, exploring, sleeping, and eating. We wake up about 7 am, and theyâre ready to head outside. They have access to the deck, test the toys, dogpile for naps, play in the bushes, happily greet visitors, take more naps, and feed on Diamond Naturals wet food or Taste of the Wild salmon puppy kibble. Zonk-out time is about 9 pm. They sleep well through the night, together on a doggie bed. No barking. All the pups have been well socialized at home and visit with college students during study breaks. Theyâve been exposed to the hustle and bustle of a busy foster home life, the gardener, the vacuum, etc. Mama Cookie is a 15-pound terrier with sophisticated white/dark brown coloration; she doted on them and raised them well. We think their Papa was found at the same time as the litter, and is a huggable tan/white low-riding terrier-ish with presumably corgi and dachshund in his body type. At 5-6 lbs, theyâll grow into small doggies (maybe 12-20 lbs) â perfect for going everywhere with you :). They are SOOO yummy â the highlight of every day. Cookie puppy adopters are welcoming a very special addition to their family. Thank you to the shelter for rescuing them, and weâre grateful we got to be part of their life journey. They are loved! The Cookie pups could be a solo or would enjoy having a friendly fur sibling who gets along with small dogs. Adopters should be prepared to provide puppy training, exercise, and activity. They are currently in the typical puppy-teething stage.
