With some special attention, love and patience she has blossomed! She walks nicely for her handlers and asks for pets by placing her head into your lap. Since she is a sensitive gal, she tends to come off denfensive when meeting other dogs, especially in confined spaces. Potential doggie siblings should meet prior to adoption. The ideal adopter will have experience with slow introductions and give Flora plenty of time and space to warm up on her own terms. Volunteers give her an `emotional support toy` during outings, to help her feel safe and in-control when moving through new spaces.
