Senior husky (at least 8 year old) who came into shelter in thin condition 2 weeks ago.At time of spay, the uterus and ovaries were abnormal. Both ovaries had tumors - stromal sex tumors - they may have either been granulosa cell tumors (benign) or adenocarcinomas (malignant) based on histopathology report. Her This patient has severe multifocal bridging spondylosis deformans affecting the thoracic and lubar spine and was painful on spinal palpation indicating that the condition is currently clinically significant and may be contributing to discomfort, stiffness, or decreased mobility. Concerningly, this patient is progressively losing weight at sequential 1 week weight rechecks over the past 2 weeks and has had on and off gastrointestinal signs (vomiting, low appetite, diarrhea) for which she is on supportive treatment and being monitored for. The etiology remains unknown. This patient may need abdominal ultrasound, +/- biopsies of organs, if indicated, and/or GI panel with resting cortisol if gastrointestinal clinical signs persist.Serial bloodwork shows a mild anemia - this is non-specific and can be due to any inflammation in the body. She also has some white cell changes and elevated proteins suggesting inflammatoin in the body.Needs urgent rescue due to co-morbidities.
