01/28/26 12:18Blue is a sensitive 1-year-old shepherd/husky mix who arrived at the shelter as a stray. In the kennel, she is often observed resting under her bed, though she has begun to show improvement with the use of a visual barrier and can now occasionally be seen at the front of her kennel. She takes treats gently and remains quiet, rarely barking.Outside of the kennel, Blue can be wary of the loud shelter environment and may startle at sudden noises, but she clearly finds comfort in human companionship. She seeks reassurance from people and allows full handling. Blue would do best with a rescue or patient adopter who understands the decompression process and is willing to give her the time and space she needs to build confidence in a calm, supportive home.01/15/26 15:15Needs rescue due to fear of environment and interaction with handlers. Escape attempts when trying to get out of kennel and panicks once removed from kennel, frantically pulling away from handler and avoiding while in a yard. Tolerant of handling, solicits attention once familiar and paws at/jumps to get attention or to be pet. Very fearful of kennel and thrashes, pancakes and pulls away to avoid entering once again.
