02/09/26 11:55 Rescue Plea – Neurologic Puppy Rescue Needed: Neurologic Puppy with Progressive Signs We are seeking experienced rescue placement for a 10-week-old puppy with concerning neurologic abnormalities.Per the foster caregiver, this puppy initially appeared normal, but later developed:•Tremors that worsen with movement (intention tremors)•Abnormal horizontal eye movements•Bright mentation and continued interest in surroundingsA littermate remains neurologically normal, increasing concern for an underlying congenital or inherited condition. Because signs developed after an initially normal period, a progressive neurologic disorder is possible, though a definitive diagnosis has not yet been made.This puppy will need:•A rescue familiar with neurologic or special-needs puppies•Capacity for ongoing monitoring and diagnostics•A safe foster environment that can manage tremors and coordination issuesDespite these challenges, the puppy remains alert and interactive and deserves the opportunity for further evaluation and appropriate placement.
