She takes a bit of time to feel safe, but once she does, her personality quietly blossoms. Spoiler alert: treats are the way to her heart. With a little patience (and a well-stocked cookie jar), you’ll start to see her signature toe taps, happy spins, and soft requests for ear scratches… especially that adorable left ear that always sticks out to the side.She will thrive in a peaceful, patient environment and doesn’t need much activity. Cookie is perfectly content to lounge nearby and enjoy quiet companionship and cuddles on her terms- the perfect work-from-home companion. She’s housetrained and comfortable being left alone. She’d do best as the only dog in the home, or with her bestie, Brownie A1401291 (see below).Bonus: Over the past two months in their foster home, Cookie has been a steady sidekick and source of comfort for Brownie, a small chihuahua-corgi-doxie mix she was rescued with.
