With the right match, Mack will thrive, bringing his loyalty, sweetness, and playful energy into his forever home.Stop by today to meet Mack and see why this boy is ready to be your devoted companion!12/03/25What did we do on todayâs adventure:Today was my first Trails & Tails adventure and I had such a great time! The car ride was so fun - I hopped right in and got comfortable. There's nothing quite like sticking my head out the window and feeling the breeze in my ears during the drive. I was so excited for our walk! Yes, I'm a strong guy, but I'm much more interested in taking my time to really explore all the amazing smells around me than pulling my walker along. There's so much to discover with my nose! I showed off my commands - I know 'sit' and 'paw' really well, and I'm working hard on mastering 'down.' Treats are definitely a great motivator for me! During our breaks, I showed my affectionate side by leaning against my walker - it's my way of saying 'I like you'. I did see some other dogs during our outing, and I'll be honest, that can be challenging for me but Iâm working on it!What should potential adopters know about me:Mack is great in the car and loves the simple joy of sticking his head out the window during rides. He's also content to relax in the back seat with a bully stick, showing he can be calm and settled when needed. On walks, while Mack is strong, but he's more interested in taking his time to sniff and explore his surroundings than pulling. He's an affectionate boy who likes to lean against his handler during breaks. Mack is treat motivated and has already mastered `sit` and `paw,` and is currently working on `downâ. However, Mack is reactive to other dogs, which is an important consideration for potential adopters. With environmental barriers like bush cover and high value treats for distraction, he can be redirected. Mack would thrive best as an only pet in a home with an experienced adopter who understands the GSD breed, can provide structure and continued training, and will give him the one-on-one attention he deserves. With the right match, Mack will be a loyal, loving companion who brings both strength andsweetness to his forever home.Three words to describe me:Inquisitive, Sweet, Intelligent
