MOOTILDA

Mootilda is an affectionate, energetic sweetheart who truly shined during her Doggie Day Out and Pups & PJs sleepover! From trails to cozy cuddle time, she showed off just how wonderful of a companion she can be.Out on her adventures, Mootilda loved exploring—sniffing grass, trees, and yes, even trash cans ??. She joined her handlers for long walks and hikes (over 12 miles in one day!) and still had plenty of enthusiasm to spare. She walks nicely on leash and stays close, though she may pull a bit when she catches an especially exciting scent. Even then, she checks in often and keeps a great pace.Mootilda was neutral and well-mannered around other dogs and people, and while she wasn’t directly tested with young kids during her day out, she was later around children ages 4–16 and did well. She can get a little exuberant when excited, so she’d do best with gentle guidance during play. She’s a playful goofball who loves toys, belly rubs, head and butt scratches, and being close to her people.At home, Mootilda quickly settled in and showed her softer side. She appears to be mostly potty trained and will signal by going near the door when she needs to go out. She only had one accident, which was easily explained and not her fault. With enough exercise and enrichment, she’s happy to relax, cuddle, and sleep soundly through the night.Mootilda is a strong, active dog with a big heart—full of energy for adventures and just as much love for couch cuddles. She’d thrive in a home that can give her regular activity, enrichment, and lots of affection. Bonus points if you’re ready to admire her adorable ears and accept compliments everywhere you go!
