Hello! I’m Boots! I’m a high-energy, playful guy looking for my new active home. I love to jump, so I’d do best in a home without children under 12. I may enjoy living with another dog, but I’d need an in-shelter meet and greet to make sure our play styles match. I can’t wait to meet you and go on all our new adventures! I’m a very sweet boy, during intake, I let the staff vaccinate me just by offering me cheese, no restraint needed! I can be a little nervous in new situations, like when I had to get on the scale, but I’m very gentle with treats and love pets so much that I sometimes roll over on the ground to show my belly. I prefer quieter spaces and eventually went into a calmer kennel on my own.When I’m comfortable, I’m a total goof! I love play bows, zoomies, and running around with a loose, happy body and wagging tail. I can be a little mouthy when I’m super excited about treats, but I respond well to patience, guidance, and tasty rewards.I’m looking for a patient, active family who can give me plenty of exercise, playtime, and love. I promise I’ll bring all the fun, cuddles, and excitement into your life!
