Anaiah is a stunning 10-pound calico girl with bold markings and bright, expressive eyes. She was surrendered when her former owner had to move and couldn’t take her along. Anaiah is an active, independent cat who knows exactly what she likes. She can be talkative and tends to avoid strangers at first, but once she trusts you, she shows a sweet, affectionate side. She has lived with both cats and dogs before, though here in the shelter she’s been hissing at nearby cats — so slow introductions will be important. Anaiah is litterbox trained, loves sleeping in bed or curled up on pillows, and enjoys string toys and chase games. She also appreciates having cozy hiding spots where she can feel secure. Anaiah will thrive in a patient home that gives her the time and space she needs to warm up. Once she does, she becomes a loyal, loving companion.
