Hello Friends! My name is Junior, I'm a neutered male, 2 year old, pit bull mix who currently weighs around 62 lbs. I'm an energetic boy that loves running full speed whenever I can! I will bound right into your heart with my adorable antics and rambunctious personality. Since I am a big boy that tends to be on the exuberant side, I would do best in a home with dog-savvy kids aged 10+. I'm a smart boy that already has solid "sit" skills, and I've learned to walk loosely on leash (unless I'm super excited). Zoomies and rope toys are my absolute faves! I recently went on a hike with a PHS volunteer! Here's how I did:
I took Mr. Junior out for an offsite hike today. As usual, I was welcomed with a lot of kisses in his dorm. Junior was so excited to leave his dorm. He seems very comfortable traveling in the car and hopped in and out immediately all by himself. He enjoyed the views as we headed to the hike. Junior enjoyed sniffing along the trail as he trotted along with me. At no point did he react to other dogs/birds on our hike. He was a good boy. He kept checking on me the entire time. I was thanked with a lot of kisses by the end of the hike! He liked to dip his feet by the beach for a few seconds, but not really a water dog. Junior is a sweet boy and would make such a great companion to anyone who adopts him.
