Physical Description
Hickory is a sleek silver tabby with white eyeliner. We joke that he reminds us of a Disney character. Kovu, Simba, Gus Gus and Baloo have all been proposed as Hickory look alikes.
Personality
Hickory is a sweet and sensitive guy. Orphaned at just a few days old, Hickory has grown up in foster care. He is the perfect blend of crazy and calm - after playing with his foster siblings he loves to settle down for cuddles and pets. He gets along with everyone he meets and has lived with his 4 foster siblings (Cobbler, Pixel, Butters and Lil Punch) as well as resident cats and dogs in his foster home. Hickory would do well in any home but must be adopted with another kitten.Due to the limited number of spay/neuter surgeries this time of year, Hickory is awaiting his neuter surgery and will be available for pre adoption. He can go to a new home the first week of May.

Apply to adopt here! Online cat application form Applications are also available on the website (www.yolospca.org)
It can take up to 3-5 business days to hear back once you have submitted an application.
The Yolo County SPCA is a private, not-for-profit, foster home-based animal rescue organization and does not have a shelter. All our animals awaiting adoption are in foster homes. For more information about this animal, please email
[email protected]. For more general questions, please see our website at www.yolospca.org.
All of our felines have been altered prior to adoption. Kittens have been given their first shots of FVRCP, adults are up-to-date on vaccinations, and all cats have been Feline Leukemia tested (negative) and micro chipped. The fee to adopt is $150 for one kitten or $100 for adults over 1 year (the fee helps cover these costs and the cost of the microchip registration). A reduced fee is available for adopting a second cat or kitten
