Physical Description
Embry is a silky soft white kitten with patches of brown tabby coloring.
Personality
Embry is a sweet, empathetic and sensitive girl who is the yin to her sister's yang. Embry is an extremely affectionate kitten who wants to sit in your lap and watch the other kittens play. Embry has been through a lot in her short life, from surviving an overcrowded shelter to battling a severe upper respiratory infection. Her resilience is quite evident in how trusting she is with humans and how she's accepted other kittens, cats and dogs. She has lived with two large, cat friendly dogs in her foster homes. Embry has some permanent ocular changes from her infections as a baby, but she is not in any pain and does not require any treatment for them. Embry would be happiest being adopted with her sister, Quill, after all they have been through together.

It can take up to 3-5 business days to hear back once you have submitted an application.
The Yolo County SPCA is a private, not-for-profit, foster home-based animal rescue organization and does not have a shelter. All our animals awaiting adoption are in foster homes. For more information about this animal, please email

All of our felines have been altered prior to adoption. Kittens have been given their first shots of FVRCP, adults are up-to-date on vaccinations, and all cats have been Feline Leukemia tested (negative) and micro chipped. The fee to adopt is $135 for kittens or $80 for adults over 1 year (the fee helps cover these costs and the cost of the microchip registration). A reduced fee is available for adopting a second cat or kitten
