Physical Description
Gracie was born with a rare condition where her GI tract and urinary tract were abnormally connected. Gracie had a groundbreaking lifesaving procedure at UC Davis to reconstruct her hind end. A complication of this procedure is a degree of fecal incontinence that we are still medically managing with oral medications and dedicated litterbox areas. Gracie needs a special adopter committed to continuing to manage her care with a veterinarian and who understands she may have some litterbox accidents due to her fecal incontinence.

Personality

Gracie is a playful little girl who adores romping around with her fellow kittens. Like many torties, she has a delightful mix of sweetness and sass that makes her personality shine. While she may seem a bit shy at first, Gracie absolutely loves affection once she feels comfortable.She may do well in a home with kids or dogs, but she'll need some time and patience to settle in and feel safe. With love and understanding, Gracie is sure to blossom into a loyal and affectionate companion who brings plenty of joy (and a little tortie spice!) to her forever family.

All of our felines have been altered prior to adoption. Kittens have been given their first shots of FVRCP, adults are up-to-date on vaccinations, and all cats have been Feline Leukemia tested (negative) and micro chipped. The fee to adopt is $150 for kittens or $100 for adults over 1 year (the fee helps cover these costs and the cost of the microchip registration). A reduced fee is available for adopting a second cat or kitten
