We are Helping Shepherds of Every Color. We do not discriminate against white or other non acceptable GSD colors. We saw a need to help out GSDs, there are so many out there so we jumped in to help. Also since so many GSDs I have helped in the past were from the Humane Society of Elmore County, we can jokingly be referred to as Helping Shepherds of Elmore County.

Service Areas Central Alabama mostly but will consider out of state adoptions on a case by case basis. Will occasionally bring in animals from out of state.
Adoption Process
Adotpion application, reference and vet reference check, home visit, adoption contract, adoption fee (amount varies depending on the animal).
