What kind of home would be best for me? As a young pup, Trevor is still learning what life as a cherished pet is all about. He will need a family that is ready to guide him through the basics, including leash walking, house manners, and everyday routines. Like all puppies, he will benefit from consistent training, patience, and positive reinforcement as he grows and learns. Trevor is a smart boy and should do very well with gentle guidance and a family dedicated to helping him succeed.
Trevor enjoys the company of other dogs and would happily share his home with a playful canine companion. Having another dog around could help him continue building confidence and give him a buddy to romp around with as he grows. However, he could also do well as an only dog in a home where he receives plenty of interaction, exercise, and engagement. Should Trevor be adopted to a home without another dog he will absolutely require doggy playdates and outings to meet other dogs a minimum of 3 times per week. Trevor loves loves loves to play. He would thrive well in a home with another gregarious, happy, bouncy large dog to run and wrestle with.
What is my personality like? Trevor was purchased by a groomer in December 2025, but her existing dogs were inconsiderate of the happy puppy. One of our volunteers found out about Trevor and arranged transfer to the poodle farm for vetting and placement. Trevor is an adorable white and gray Standard Poodle puppy with a bright personality and a heart that's just beginning to discover the world. Full of curiosity and charm, Trevor has that wonderful puppy spirit - playful, affectionate, and eager to be part of whatever his people are doing. He has a happy, youthful energy and loves being outside - whether that means exploring the yard, playing games, or simply soaking up the sunshine. At the same time, Trevor also enjoys being close to his people and soaking up affection once playtime is done.
With structure, patience, and lots of love, Trevor will grow into a loyal and joyful companion. For a family ready for all the fun and learning that comes with raising a puppy, Trevor promises to bring laughter, energy, and plenty of sweet moments to his forever home.
How do I act when I first meet new people? All humans are cool - Trevor's motto is "just because I haven't met you yet doesn't mean I don't love you already."
Other tips and tidbits: Trevor is a summer child - his actual birthdate is June 4, 2025.
House trained? Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule.
