Description: These resilient pups recently came to us from a heartbreaking hoarding situation, where they didn't experience much of the comfort and care that every dog deserves. Now, they're ready to discover what it means to be a cherished family member and have the focus all on them!

Sarah is taking the time to settle into her new foster home and all the big changes she has experienced. She is a timid but incredibly sweet girl who is looking for a patient, loving home where she can continue to build confidence at her own pace. Sarah absolutely adores people and is the definition of a velcro dog. Once she trusts you, she wants to be by your side at all times, whether that's following you around the house, curling up in your lap, or snuggling close. She loves affection and enjoys gentle pets. Her sweet personality really shines when she feels safe and secure!

Because of her past, Sarah can be sensitive to loud noises, quick movements, and unfamiliar situations. She feels most comfortable in a calm, quiet environment and is still learning that the world is a safe place. While she is making progress every day, she can be still be nervous outside and is still working on potty training. Her foster believes much of this is related to her anxiety outdoors but with patience and routine she continues to improve!

Sarah is used to living with other dogs, but she is now getting used to having a little space for herself. She is currently living with other dogs and cats, but has shown that she is happiest when she doesn't have to share her favorite humans with other animals. While she will continue to work on this, right now, a home without other pets would allow her to thrive and feel most secure or one that will continue to work through this with her. Sarah is also quite vocal and isn't shy about expressing herself, so she would be best suited for a house rather than an apartment setting.
