Who can resist this amazing smile on Burke??! Burke is about 3 years old, and was living primarily in a home within a mobile park. Sadly, Burke's mama/caretaker passed away, leaving several cats. Burke was one of the favorites (actually, is that possible??!!!) and spent most of his time indoors, but with limited human companionship. He tends to be shy and reserved, but is a big ball of LOVE. Once he feels comfortable, he seeks out and craves human attention. He adores a wand toy, and is a sucker for Churu (kitty crack!). Burke is so grateful (he told us so!!!) to be safe in the warm home of a foster mama, but would love nothing more than to find a home of his own. Burke is good with other cats, and would likely be fine with calm dogs and/or children, as long as the vibe is pretty "chill". Please reach out about Burke today! Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives!
$300 for purebred/highly requested kittens, 6 months or younger, such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coon mixes. These "guardian kittens" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens.
$200 for purebred/highly requested cats older than 6 months such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coone mixes. These "guardian cats" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens.
$200 for kittens (6 months & under)
$125 for cats (older than 6 months)
$75 for senior cats (8 years or older)
