Hi! My name is Scorpio, and I'm a 3 month old black kitty boy! I am a little scruffy, but very soft and gentle, and I love to curl up and get pets! You can pick me up and I am very likely to start purring so that you know I'm happy. I'm sharing a cage with my two brothers, and if you're looking for more than one kitty, we would be great adopted together! I am the calmest of us three, and I am looking forward to becoming a lap kitty--it sounds really nice, the idea of having people who let you sit on them and be cozy. I do like to play, too, I'm just not quite as bouncy as my bros.


The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.

The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
