Choc is a 2.5 year old female Pit mix, and her sweet fun-loving spirit will bring lots of joy into your home! She has quickly learned the game of Fetch and absolutely loves it - and her big, happy smile as she proudly trots back with the ball is pure entertainment. Choc is a social butterfly who lights up around people and greets other dogs with friendly curiosity, politely saying hello through the fence. On the other hand, she seems much too interested in cats, so would not be suitable in a home with them. After the excitement of playtime, she melts into her lovable side, happily stretching out beside you for pets and affection. With her reddish-chocolate colored coat and warm, soulful eyes, she's as sweet as her name suggests. Come meet Choc today - you just might find your new best friend!
The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.

The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
